Easter!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. We are not TOO into the Easter Bunny part of Easter, but he did come and we did hunt eggs, then we headed to Mooreland for lunch with Brent's family and my parents.

The Easter Bunny came while we were at church. Rhett had fallen asleep on the way home, so for the sake of the rest of the afternoon, we just let him sleep and Hollace did the "Easter Bunny thing" and hunted eggs by herself. I know-pitiful, but like I said we aren't that into it and Rhett doesn't know the difference anyway.

I tried to get a picture of the kids together. They have pics with live bunnies at James' on Tuesday, I hope it goes better than this.

If you haven't seen the "Resurrection Eggs", they are really neat! Nana got them for the kids. It is a carton of 12 numbered eggs. They each have a small item inside which symbolizes some part of the Easter story. #1 is a small donkey symbolizing the donkey Jesus rode into Jerusalem on before His crucifixion. The story ends with #12-an empty egg-symbolizing the empty tomb Jesus rose from on the third day! It is a really neat way to teach about the Resurrection of our Savior-the real meaning of Easter!
Rhett spends a lot of time at the door, trying to sneak out. He would be outside all day if we would let him.
It was a little chilly, but we did go out and hunt eggs for a little while. This is how interested in the eggs Rhett was. He would rather play in the car.

Cute pics, we didn't do any egg hunting and they didn't seem to notice! I love the resurrection eggs! I used them in puggles and at Caden's school party! What a great way to tell the story to little ones! You guys looked great!
