Best Buddies

Our addition here is FULL of little girls. There are LOTS of girls about Hollace's age right on our street. She has a ball! One of the little girls right across the street has a little brother, John David. He is the ONLY little boy near us and he is 4. He and Rhett have become good friends. It is too cute the way they play together. I guess Rhett has never really had a real "friend", besides the ones he plays with at the nursery, etc. He and John David have lots of fun, wrestling, playing in the mud, on the swing set, riding scooters and playing trucks. Aren't they cute?

Speaking of buddies, here are another pair. I know someday they will be quite the pals.

Just a pic of Mr. Thad at about 12 weeks. He is so sweet!-and feeling much better. I don't think his reflux is GONE, but I can tell a big difference with the medications.
Look at those blue eyes! I'm sure they will still change. He would sort of look like the odd man out with blue eyes in this family. I don't remember when the other kids' changed...

You know, Payton's blue eyes are still transitioning to green and she's 10. I thought for sure they'd be brown w/in a few months of her birth, but she's held on those those baby blues!

Cute pics btw! Love the ones of the boys on the swingset!

I can't believe Thad's eyes are still so blue, but I can't really remember when they change, either. The pics of Rhett and John David are really cute. I bet they have a big time. I sure miss you all!

By the way - I think Thad looks a lot like Hollace in that picture!

Layne's eyes stayed blue or bluish-gray for a long time! Now, they're brown like her Daddy's. He is so precious! Any ideas on when you might be back in Oklahoma? We would love to see you guys!

I think it would be cool if Thad's eyes stayed blue. It looks like you guys have a great place to live. I'm so happy for you, even if we wish you were still here :)

How fun to have all those kids on your street--you can be the kool-aid mom and they can play in YOUR yard every day! teehee. Your kids are too precious. Thad looking at his brother is so cute!
