Taking a Breather

Wow! It is almost April and my last post was March 1st! We have really been busy, and had lots going on, I just haven't had time to post about it yet. I am taking a breather and will catch up with pictures later, but here's a quick rundown of what we've been up to.

Hollace's Spring break started 2 weeks ago. We left Sat. morning to spend a couple of days in Chattanooga. We got back Monday afternoon and Brent's parents were waiting in the driveway for us. We had lots of fun that week and they left on Friday. My parents arrived just a few hours later and stayed until this past Wednesday!

It just so happened that the times that worked out for them both to come was back to back! It has been a crazy last couple of weeks and needless to say the kids have been SPOILED. Staying up late, eating junk, sleeping with their grandparents, eating more junk, doing fun/special things, missing naps (well one of them), and eating more junk for nearly 2 weeks! It was great though and we are always glad to have our family visit. We are currently in OPERATION: GRANDPARENT DETOX. Ha!

Does anyone see a problem with this picture??? It makes me laugh! This is my dad's shoes that someone felt the need to "plug in". I'm not even sure which one did it, but I think maybe we should revisit the "don't play with electrical outlets" lesson. What do you think?
Oh, and also in the last two weeks, Rhett has started his soccer career. He had his first practice earlier this week and his his first "rained-out" game (of probably several) was this morning. (It's not even raining, by the way!). The way they cancel things for weather around here, we may never finish the season.

Here are a couple of pictures of his first practice. He has a lot to learn, but it is really cute! What's NOT cute is us trying to keep Thad off the field for an hour!

Here is the little guy in action!

Caught "Red Handed"

LITERALLY!!!
Why do I continue to think that anything in my house that is accessible without a lock and key or an 8 ft. ladder is safe?? (Ok, maybe just the lock and key. 8 ft. is not that high is it?)
This time it was my ink pads.
