JAMAICA!!: Part 6

OOPS!!........I've had this post done for a while and just realized I never posted it. Here is the final post from our vacation in July.

Friday and Saturday

This is where we ate breakfast every morning- after we got up when we darn well felt like it! NOT when we were woken up by an alarm clock or by a 4 year old asking for breakfast!

We managed to get a few workouts in while we were there. This is something we really enjoy doing together, but rarely get to do. This little gym was pretty nice, but there was no air conditioning so it was HOT!!

We got dressed up and went to eat at a nice dinner every single night too. Something else we enjoy doing together, but don't get a chance to do very often.

Friday night before dinner we stopped to take a picture with the amazing landscaping. Everything was so beautiful!

Our last night. We really missed the kids, but were sad that our week was coming to an end.

Saturday morning before we left, we had to take a picture with this sign. "Soon Come Back"!

.........and we will.......come back! Well maybe not to this exact place, but we decided we should definitely not wait 10 year to do something like this again.

A Little Irony for the First Day of Preschool

The boys started pre-school this week. They are going to a little school called "Little Saints". I just couldn't help but smile a little at the irony of that. Rhett started on Monday. He will go Monday through Thursday from 9-12. He is actually (just barely) old enough to have started kindergarten this year. We decided to wait and send him next year. On a side note, I have already had our decision affirmed by the way he acts in the afternoons. I just keep thinking "what if he was still at school right now?". Thad started Tuesday and will go on Tues. and Thurs. They have extended care there until 2 if I have an appointment or something. So far I really like their school and the teachers.

Here are the boys on Tuesday. I decided to wait and do the pics on the first day that they both had school. Thad was not really interested in cooperating. Shocking!

Rhett was more cooperative this morning.

Rhett was doing his best to get Thad in the mood for pictures, but he was just not into it.

So more pictures of just Rhett.

One more try and I said "Oh, that was almost a good one, except I think you had your eyes closed, Rhett."

I shouldn't have said anything because this is what I got next.

..........and it went down hill from there.

On that note, I think I'll take these "little saints" and drop them off with someone else for a few hours!
