Devil's Den

A couple weeks before school started a couple friends and I took a little road trip with the kids to Devil's Den State Park, near West Fork in the Ozark Mountains. It's only about an hour from here and is a really great park!  We hiked, had a picnic lunch, swam, rode pedal boats, played in the waterfall, and climbed the rocks. They kids all had such a fun time! It is really beautiful and I got a little carried away with the pictures. This is your warning.....there are about a bazillion pictures!
I'm not going to give much commentary with the pictures because....well because there are about a bazillion of them!

We actually didn't think to stop and take a picture here before we headed out on the hike, so this was actually after we had hiked the trail.

We lined all the kids up for a picture together and realized we had a Kindergartener, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grader!!
Here they are in order.

The boys LOVED climbing up these rocks and thought it was so cool to be up so high at the very top. They were so excited when they saw this bird flying right near them.
See Rhett's face as he spots it....and I'm just not sure what Thad is doing:)

I kept getting silly faces from this one....
