We spent Thanksgiving in Mooreland at Brent's parents' house. It was great and we all ate until we were miserable. My parents came over, so we just had to do the Thanksgiving thing once. We get to spend a lot of holidays with both of our families at the same time! How many people get to do that? I am reminded of how blessed we are with wonderful families (and special family friends too). We are really lucky and love them all!!........Now, for a MUCH NEEDED EXPLANATION of the following three pictures: During dinner, Hollace got into Grammy Terri's antique hat collection and decided we all needed to wear one. She put one on each of us and this is how we all looked during most of dinner.
If you can see Rhett in the back on Papa's lap, he didn't cooperate with Hollace's idea quite as well as everyone else did.
After all the turkey I guess Rhett felt the need to brush his teeth!
He is wearing a vest of Brent's when he was a baby. (Brent's mom got it out-Isn't it cute.)
Hollace has the right idea with a nap after the big day and HUGE meal!

My parents and in-laws have always been friends and we've spent many holidays together and those are such special memories. You are truly blessed. Oh, and poor Rhett, I am afraid he will be at the mercy of Hollace's ideas for a long time to come :)
Love the hats...she is so creative! How fun that you were all together for the holidays!
I also love the hats, especially the women hats on the men. Sounds like there is never a dull moment at your house! ;)
How funny is your fam! Love the pic of Hollace zonked in the car! I probably could have done that the day after Thanksgiving when we shopped for 18 hours straight!
