The "Better" Cheerleader Debut

Hollace's cheerleading debut went pretty well. I don't know if I'd say she was "better", but probably not "worse" either. Apparently most of the other girls didn't want to practice either. She had lots of fun.

The plan was for the girls to do their cheer and dance on the field before the game. Due to rainy weather and a soggy field, they moved the pre-game activities into the gym for the parents to come watch. When we found out about this change in plans, I explained it to Hollace. It was a pretty funny conversation.

Hollace: What if someone falls and gets hurt on the hard floor in the gym?

Me: I don't think any of the girls will fall down.

Hollace: Not the girls, the boys playing football.

Ha-Ha.

Me: Well you're going to do your cheers inside the gym, but the football team will still have to play their game out on the field.

Hollace: (looking a little disgusted.) How am I suppose to cheer for the team if I am inside the gym and they are outside??

Hmmm... Good question.

This is Hollace and Rhett with their favorite cheerleader and babysitter, Halley Poulson.

A little post-cheer fun with her good friend, Brynn.

She is so stinkin cute! She is going to make a fantastic cheerleader someday, she even knows the basics- you have to see the team play to cheer for them! :)

It's a good thing Mrs. Servis wasn't coaching them! Those girls would've got in serious trouble for not practicing!!! She is too funny! It looks like she had a blast and looked so cute doing it!
