If you saw yesterday's post you know Hollace is playing t-ball this summer (for the first time). It is a pretty short league. They just practiced for a month, then have games for a month. I'm not sure if Hollace is going to be a huge softball star. She acts like she has fun, but after the first few practices I asked her what her favorite part was and she said "the part where we go home"!, but she also likes "the part where we hit the ball off that stick".
She has had 4 games now, and it is really fun to watch. They are so cute. It is co-ed 4 and 5 year olds. Since Hollace is close to 6 and very tall, she is the tallest on her team. Grammy Terri was asking me how many are on the team and if they had ever been short (not enough players) and Hollace said "Yes, they're all short, except me. I'm the tall one." Ha!
Her coach handed out shirt and Hollace happened to get #21, her Daddy's baseball # in college.
Getting a little coaching from Dad
With two of her biggest fans
*For those of you wondering about yesterday's pic, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a diving catch. She was warming up before a game and apparently decided she needed a pre-game "rest".

This is so cute! Cory and I got a good chuckle over this! Miss you guys!
She is too funny! Love the pics!
That is hilarious! I love the laying down picture!
Oops, that last comment was by Mandy not Chad.
My fav is the one where Brent is sharing his wisdom of the game and Hollace is standing there looking bored! Cute pics, I wish Lily would play t-ball.
Wish I could watch her play. Have you taken some movies? Rhett looks like he's about asleep in that one picture! Does he was to go other on the field and play? What does Thad think about the games?
I might like softball if I could hit the ball off a stick...I'm sure that's the only chance I'd have at hitting it.
I love the pics - what a hoot! We had a great time watching her. Brought back great memories. I also love the pic w/her dad coaching her. Love mom h
Going home is my favorite part too!
Hey, I think you should have held back the description of the last picture - I like to think it was a diving catch! :) Don't assume Hollace won't end up loving softball - when Katie was little she used to say, "Please don't ever make me play basketball!"
