Mother's Day Reflection

 Sunday was a great day spent with my three amazing blessing who call me mom, my amazing husband, and my wonderful parents.

Hollace had a play for drama club on Friday night (pics will be posted soon) so Nana and Papa came for the weekend.

I am really just at a loss for words about how blessed I feel to be the Mother to these three children. 

I am SO thankful God entrusted me to care for these sweet babies!

....and I could not be any more blessed with the man I have as my partner in parenting!

I can't get over how tall and grown up Hollace looks in this picture!:(

I also can't begin to tell how grateful I am for my Mother and Mother in Law- SO thankful for all they did for Brent and I as children, for all that they do now, and for the examples they set for us!

 Nana and Papa left shortly after lunch. 

Then Hollace and her friends across the street had set up a "spa" in our backyard for their mother and me.  It was quite the treat with massages and a foot soak in water with rose petals!

Thad even got a spa treatment!

I decided to post pictures of some of these so I don't have to save everything, but can always look back at them.

These two are both from Rhett. I love the last line on the one on the left. It says "As you can see, my mom is special because she made my life."

The one of the right is hard to read, but it says, "My mom is as pretty as a butterfly. She is as sweet and candy. She is as smart as a nerd. But most of all she is as special as God."

Nature Center Field Trip

A couple of weeks ago Rhett's class went on a field trip to the Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center near our house. Thad didn't have school that day so he got to come along. The kids took turns doing three activities. They got to try archery, cane fishing, and took a little hike down a nature trail.  It was a beautiful day and they had a great time! The nature center was really nice and is just a couple of miles from our house. I'm sure we will be back!

A PREVIEW

Here is a little preview of what the next couple of months of our lives are going to look like.......

Both boys had their first games of the season last Monday......at the same time. I was running back and forth between fields and just got a few good pictures before it started raining. I'm sure I'll have many more picture taking opportunities during the 34 games we have over the next 9 weeks!

Spring Break at Beaver's Bend

For Spring Break this year we went to Beaver's Bend State Park in far Southeast OK. We stayed in this  great cabin. We had a great time relaxing, watching movies and sitting in the hot tub here!

One day we went to some stables for a trail ride. The kids were so excited about this and it was a great time!

After the ride, the stable owner let the kids look around at her farm animals and even feed and hold the baby goats. They were crying so loud when the kids would pick them up. It was SO loud and the kids thought this was hilarious!! It was pretty funny!

It was a great time with my family.  I am so thankful for times together like this!
