The last week in July Hollace went to a theater camp, where they prepared a musical performance that they presented that weekend. It was the first time she had ever done anything like that and she LOVED it! (I have some pictures from the presentation that I'll post later.)
All the grandparents, and Aunt Sydnie and Uncle Jeremy and Maggie and Margot came for the weekend to see her performance. It was a full house, but we had a great time!
It also happened to be Nana's Birthday (the big 6-0!!) so we did a little celebrating too.
Here's the birthday girl and all her grandkids.
Opening a few presents.
Modeling the shawl Sydnie knitted for her.
Before we left for the performance I wanted to get a few pictures of us all together.
Thad was not in the mood for pictures and was crying and begging for me to hold him. I made a deal with him that I would hold him for a couple of pictures and then he'd have to stand up like a big boy.
I knew he was too big to be held for a picture, but when I saw this.......
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Where did my baby go?? He's as big as me!!
I can't get over this! and how big and grown up he looks!
He is just SO not a baby anymore!!
Here's the Brown side of the family
Nana and Papa Larry and their grandkids
Grammy Terri and Papa Rick with the kids (their grandkids minus Gunnar)
All of us with Grammy and Papa
That evening we celebrated a little more with a yummy birthday cake
It was great to have everyone here to see Hollace's performance and to celebrate Nana's birthday!
So glad they all could come!!
