The first week in October we had a couple of big events to attend. Thursday was the Gala for the opening of the new Mercy Orthopedic Hospital. It was a really nice event and is a beautiful facility. I wish I would have taken some pictures. It looks like a hotel rather than a hospital!
Friday was the annual "Red Shoe Shindig" benefiting the Ronald McDonald House family room, which is at Mercy. It was a Masquerade Ball this year and was a lot of fun!
Again, I sort of failed with the pictures. The decorations were really great, but we didn't think to take this picture until the very end when the decorations were already being taken down.
