Rhett chose to have his birthday party at a place called Main Event. It has bowling and video games. He liked the bowling and LOVED the video games. This guy cannot get enough of video games!
He just had a few family friends and a couple friends from his class last year. I think they all had a great time.

Nana and Papa were able to come down for the party. It was nice to have a helping hand and a photographer.
Rhett wanted a Spider Man cake. I was a slacker again this year and did not make his cake, but ordered it at Market Street. Not sure what the ugly thing in the upper right corner is, but Rhett knew and thought it was perfectly appropriate so I went with it.

After cake and pizza they got a game card to play video games. This was a hit of course.
So there you have it. I'm one post closer to being caught up. I was really hoping to be caught up on summer posts before school starts on Monday. It doesn't look like that's going to happen. I still haven't posted anything from our beach vacation or Meet the Teacher Night. Also tomorrow both the boys are going to have little minor surgeries to have their ear tubes removed. The tubes typically come out on their own, but they each have one that is not budging. I'll try to post tomorrow with an update and a few pictures I'm sure.

That was indeed a fun place for a party. All the kids seemed to have a great time and I know Rhett's Mom appreciated not having to put her house back together afterwards.
